Together with First – Influencer marketing agency we created the In de huid van series. We partnered with First to create a set of vertical-first films hosted by Daan Boom. The concept: test the internet’s most shared “miracle remedies” for eczema in an over-the-top, self-aware way, then land on the truth—real help starts with professional advice, not filters and fables.
The idea
Eczema comes with frustration, insecurity, and a constant stream of unsolicited tips. We leaned into that reality with humor and honesty: three episodes with creators living with eczema, each built around a conversation, absurd experiments, and a clear takeaway.
What we made
- 3 vertical episodes (social-first, 9:16)
- A short intro film with Daan setting the tone of the series
- Cutdowns for Reels, TikTok, and Stories
Approach
We shot in real environments to keep it human and relatable, then contrasted that with stylized “influencer ad” inserts—fast, punchy, and intentionally too much. A two-pass interview setup kept the conversations dynamic while leaving room for comedic beats and reaction moments.
